Please respond to the Character Counts lesson about Fairness that we worked on and discussed today. What does it mean to be treated fairly, or to treat someone fairly? Does is mean that everyone is always treated exactly the same? Share your thoughts and ideas.
In my opinion being treated fairly is being included being kind to others. It also means to treat people the way you wanted to be treated just like the golden rule.

Farily mean to treat someone the way you wanted to be treated. It doesn't mean that you do what your friend always wants to do, it is not being mean it is doing the right thing. Everone is not always treated the same, just because that your friend has something you like doesn't mean that you should get it because it will make you popular or if you don't get you will not be cool or something. It is better to be youself then be not yourself. So people want to change who they are and thats how they will be treated just the same as that person. We are the oldest kids in school because we are in 5th grade we are trying to show fairness to the smaller kids.

There are many different methods that you could use to make things fair. For example

what this means to me is that yuou can do somthing that you both agree on or you can work somthing out that way you both get something you want.When you agree to disagree this means that you both dont always have to agree on the same things. If i use these things it will show that I am a nice person and that i have good sportsmanship when I do sports.
fairness is when you be fair and let other people play with you also aways be nice to people. to be fair and have evey one be it when you are playing a game and also let people sit by you at lunch.

ReplyDeleteEveryone should be treated fairly because if they where not then they would feel down. So here are some ways you could be helpful to people…
1. You can compliment them.
2. You could ask them if they want to play with you and your buds
Example:
Like my friends and me always play tag or cops and robbers and never let people not play with us.
3. You can use manners
4. Not say mean stuff about them or lie about them
5. Use the our pillars
6. And use the golden rule ( treat others the way you want to be treated)

To Day I think fairness is about to treat people nice and not to treat people meanly and not to cheat at games. Like when you are playing a game and your friend cheats you should not argue you should say should not do that and the other person should say that okay I will not do that again. That is what we learned today in school about fairness.

playing tag and some people ask you if they can play, you you could say yes,or maybe tomorrow.
I think being treated fairly is a really important thing because no one likes getting bullyed or excluded out of a game. No one is the same eveyone is diffrent dont be mean to somone just because there not like you.
