This week in math we are studying the concept of division. Write about anything you have learned and know about division and how it works. Then if you feel like it, go ahead and write a division problem for your classmates to try! Be sure you solve it yourself so you can tell us what the answer is!
This week in math I learned how to dived and make the answer reasonable.when you have an unreasonable problem you have to make it reasonable beacuse its like leaving a kid with out a chaperone on a fieldtrip. For example 26 dived by 7 would equal 3 remadier 1 but you cannot leave 1 number out of a group because it would not be reasonable. So you have to make a new group instead of saying 3 remandier 1 you would say 26 divied by 7 equals 4 to make it reasonable. here is a sample outions for my classmates. 35 divided by 3 equals what?
ReplyDeletein my math class lots of the kids did not know how to do long divisoin but once mrs.yanez tought us most of us chought on quikly.my goal is that i will know my long division for next week.
ReplyDeletedivision is not easy so dont feel bad if its hard at first you will get the hang of it before the year ends i garenty it.just keep using IXL and youo will be a long division wizard.
Right now are math class is learning about long division. We are having a lot of fun in math. We love to work in groups and partner's. I hope that we can learn more math next week and work with with groups and partner's.

I go to Mrs.Yanez for math. In math we are learning about long division. A lot of people in my class including me are not that shore what to do or how to do it so what Mrs.Yanez told us is Does McDonalds Serve Cheese Burgers. What she means by that is D=Division M=Multiplication S=Subtraction C=compare B=bring down. These are the steps to get the quotient of the division problem.
ReplyDeleteI lerned about remainders in Ms.Bonders class and she tought us that when you have a remainder just add on more group for that lonely number hanging out. Like 10/3 remainder 2 just add another group for that number. At first i was confused but when i learned how do it it was easy cheesy.

Mrs.Yaniz's math class is learning long division. Im amazing at long divison i can do it fast and easy!

for my math teacher I got was mrs Yaniz this week she is teaching us about divison with zero it was kind of confusing when she dividing there was no mumbers left and she put up the zero above the number it was kinda confusing but when she worked with me understand much better know

ReplyDeleteI think Long division is really fun because it is easy to do. In order to do it you have to know your multiplacation facts. If you were not doing long division you can say what times your divisor = your dividend and get your answer.
ReplyDeletetHIS WEEK IN MATH i LEARNED THAT THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO DO DIVISION LIKE FACTOR PAIRS, FActor trees and regular long division.I like Factor trees the best because you can figure out how many numbers and what numbers equals that number.

ReplyDeleteMath is my best subject so that is why i try to do my best at it. Also, this week in math I learned factor tree exponents another is long division but it was ten thousands. So if you had 10,000 divided by 100 you would have to cross off the 0's then you would get 10. If you say so it could be hard thats your opinon.
