Homework for the WEEK of November 26th:

Every single day you should read a MINIMUM of 20 minutes at home.  This is an extremely important part of your homework assignment.

You should practice your math facts at least 3 days per week!

Monday:  Math for Mrs. Lapham's math class:  7.1 Reteaching and Practice Pages, Social Studies Workbook page 42.

Tuesday:  Reread sections from your DEBATE book and think of any additional notes you need to take.  Think and make post-it notes about Arguments and Evidence supporting your opinions.  Math:  7.2 Reteach and Practice Pages.  Social Studies Workbook page 44.

Wednesday:  Reread section from DEBATE book and think of any additional notes you need to take.  Think and make post-it notes about Arguments and Evidence supporting your opinions.  Math:  7-4 Reteaching Page.

Thursday:  Continue working on your DEBATE preparation.  Math:  7-4 Practice page.  
What are three reasons that you as a Colonist would want to come to the New England Colonies?  Be sure to be persuasive with your word choice!

What does GRATITUDE mean to you?  Is gratitude a synonym for thankfulness?  Use your thesaurus, conversation with your friends, and deep thinking before you write your answer down!  
Homework for the week of November 13th-16th

Monday:  No School

Tuesday:  No SPELLING this week!  Vocabulary Packet Unit II, Lesson 7 due Friday.  Persuasive Letter:  organizer due tomorrow.  Read 30+ minutes.  Math Homework!

Wednesday:  Math Homework, Read 30+ minutes!  Rough Draft of the Persuasive Letter is due tomorrow.  A PLOT Diagram on a recently completed AR book is also due tomorrow. 

Thursday:  Vocabulary Packet, Math Homework, Reading 30+ minutes, World Atlas 4 due tomorrow.  Rough Draft of Persuasive Letter due tomorrow.

Friday:  Please read at least 60 minutes over the week-end, and work on the IXL website at least 30 minutes.
