Dr. Martin Luther King's Bithday

There is no school next Monday on January 21st in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday.  As we go through this week we will be learning about Dr. King's life.  What do you know about him and how has he left a legacy in our nation?

  1. Martin Luther King's legacy is he made our counrty free. He let black and white be friends and united! I want to learn more about his death, and how he lived when he was a kid.

  2. I know that Dr.Martin Luther King Jr changed America and how they think about blacks. Martin Luther King gave a speech called "I have a dream" and he won the nobel peace prize

  3. I know that he did very good job stopping segregation. He left the legacy of that all people are equal. He held boycott walks. He gave the I Have A Dream speech.

  4. What i know about Martin Luther King is that he had a dream and it came true...his dream was to put blacks and whites together everwhere! Happy Birthday,you made our lifes great!!

  7. What I know about Martin Luther King is he was an amazing person. He was famous for making blacks and white boys and girls and parents would be together in peace. And what made that all happen was from his speech and his walks he walked with over 2000 people.
    Thats what I know about Dr.King.

I know that he changed our world with making blacks whites and other races equal so our nation can be loved and he was murdered sadly. but he still made the world a better place and he will be always be remembered by his heroic act of courage. I also know he gave one of the most famous speeches known to mankind called the i have a dream speech. Martin luther king jr. is one of our world's greatest heroes. YOU!!! ROCK!!! MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.!!!
